I was having issues running my game on an iPhone 5 device, and while trying to fix this issue, I've changed several settings. Currently, the game starts to run, but then hits a breakpoint inside main.m

Considering main.m has like 5 lines to it, does anyone know what I did to cause this?

First, what version of AppGameKit are you using?

Second, where did you get the template you started from?

Finally, can you show us some of the code that might be having the problem?

Cheers,

1) 1.076

2) Used the template from 1.076, I had some issues with the armv7s that you posted about earlier, and have changed that setting to not compile for armv7s.

3)

the breakpoint is on 'int retVal...'

This happens as soon as the app starts.

I'm pretty sure that this is a compiler setting issue within XCode, not an actual piece of code, as this was running last week (and is now on iTunes). I haven't done any code changes, only build setting changes.

Okay, I think I solved it.

In trying to be thorough, I changed the following setting:

Main nib file base name (iPad): MainWindow-iPad

to

Main nib file base name (iPhone): MainWindow-iPhone

Changing it back to iPad made it work...not sure why

The template that shipped with v1076 was NOT up to date.

Try starting with the template on the AGK Wiki Template page. Make sure to use the v1076 ones.

You should not have to edit any of the AppGameKit files.
