Hi,

I have a 3d scene with around 700 polygons (the objects have textures). My scene run perfectly (59.x fps). Now, the camera is rotated and a plane (1 polygon) is near the camera... In that moment, the fps are 30!!

The fps are low in Android (in windows, it's ok)

I thought that the texture was a problem... and I removed the texture, but the problem hasn't been solved.

Why do I get low fps in Android in my scene?

Thanks!

p.s. I use Asus transformer tf301

Hi MikeMax,

Yes, I use alpha textures. It's true... but if I remove the textures, the problem continues...

Other thing... Is there any page or study about the polygon number and the mobile phones?

Thanks!

The more an 3d object covers the screen the more will the shaders have to work and use up memory.

All texturing is done with shaders on 3d objects in agk.

Thanks! But I have removed the textures (they are white objects) and the problem is the same.
On the other hand, I have tried it with sony ericsson phone and the fps are stable... so, I think that it's a problem of my tablet.

Thanks!
