Windows / Tree Magic - Memory Access Violation

I run Windows Vista (yeah, I know) and have had both Tree Magic and Plant Life running just fine for at least two years. Went to use it the other day and it wouldn't open, got a Memory Access Violation error. The only two thing I have updates is Dirextx 9 to 11 and added The Game Creaters "The 3D GameMaker" program, and it works just fine.
I dowgraded my dirextx 11 to 9, programs still didn't work, Uninstalled all my The Game Creaters programs, restarted computer and re-installed only the Tree Magig program, still got the Memory Access Violation error.
Any clue what to try next?

Got It!!!! DEP. I had to add these programs to the list of application for Microsoft to ignore.
