iOS and MacOS / Can you use iOS objects with AGK?

I know that the point of AppGameKit is to make it easy to port to other platforms. But I would like to use the iOS buttons and text boxes within my app.
It's easy to get them to appear on screen, it's just if I edit any code in the view files I always get errors.

So basically can I?, if so is there some kind of tutorial?.
In c++ on Xcode.

this template allows you to use all the native iOS elements, details are in the HUD section in UntitledViewController.m
