Hi everyone i am Itlerion, a fan of old 2D pc games that also like boardgames and wargames.

I am here to share with a proyect i launched in the Indiegogo portal, a tool that can help people to make proyects come truth :o.

The thing is that, i always wanted to do a tabletop game, since i was a little child, and at the same time i likedmaking grapchics, and sprites for PC game "Dark Omen" (1998), wich made me happy in that time to see my own sprites come live! However like i said, i always wanted to do games, physical games.

So, i have just made "Itlerion Wargames" trademark with my brother and, having a lots of game in mind and some in develop, i used free time to make a 8bit 1v1 strategy game and, at the same time, try to show it to the world by posting it in Indiegogo, helping me to make "experience" in that kind of pages (crowdfunding).

So, i present you the game. It is called "Uralia: consolidation".

I made all the grapchis and the rules, it is played with magnetized gameboard, units pieces and counters, there are 48 cards, the rulebook and 10 sided dices(3).

You can see the rulebook online here:

And download all the grapchis to print and play here:

http://www.mediafire.com/?yb8yo07n2shlsxs.

In the Indiegogo camping, you can get T shirts, Cd chase, re-writable DVD and stikcers with game desings related. oh and mouse pads too.

I show you examples of desings:

and stickers with the units to stick everywhere (with different backround colours):

And well, the game is this, inside the package:

that, as it is magnetized, you can "glue" it anywhere (with metallic surface )

.

So, i hope this post isnt bad in this forum, i just want to share this to help me starting reaching a dream, making a strategy board/wargames empress .

Hmmmm, not loving the pixel art...

It kinda looks a bit dated, like back in the day, just before 3D, and we'd get graphics like that which are really trying to have too much detail for a small resolution.

I mean, I like the idea - but the pixel art you have for the pieces makes my eyes bleed . What about trying a simpler unit form - I'd say that Warcraft2 would be a better inspiration - that top down angled view would look more natural - the artwork is more defined as well...

I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more memes.
