I've followed this:
http://appgamekit.wikispaces.com/Templates

I also downloaded the "template_vs10_v1088.zip" at the bottom of the page. This was after I used the updater from tgc.

I can't seem to get it to work. It was working on v1076, but not on the update.

It can't seem to see the include files, and as I said I've followed the instructions on the link.

Any ideas?.

Did you follow the directions about "Fixing Directory Locations" on the Templates page? The templates may be set up for directories other than your configuration.

Also, did you install AppGameKit v1088 on top of v1076 or create a new installation directory (you can install in any directory you want and have multiple installations, I have 7 so that I can test all the versions)?

I actually fixed this.. I was using the directories on the page 'C:\<your AppGameKit dir>\IDE\common\' and 'C:\<your AppGameKit dir>\IDE\' instead of the actual include/debug/release directories.
Thanks.

When I tried to create a project with vs 2010 express the compiler came up with error Cannot open include file: 'AGK.h': No such file or directory

Where can I find the headers?

billh, first, what version of AppGameKit are you using?

Next, where did you get the template to start with?

And, did you update the include and library paths in the project to reflect your AppGameKit installation?

Hi, today was my first attempt to run AppGameKit with c++. (by the way, I haven't used C++ since 2010 but don't seem to have forgot it.)

however, I don't seem to find agk.h in the root AppGameKit directory. so, I believe it has not been included with the latest beta update 108 beta 13. correct?

basjak, are you trying to compile the template or did you copy the template somewhere to create your own project?

Also, if you are using VS2010, you want to make sure that the library paths (in both Debug and Release configurations) point to the VS2010 directory (pseudo-code: <agkwinpath>\IDE\platform\windows\Lib\VS2010\<Debug|Release>.

I have had no issues with building Tier 2 in vs10813, the agk.h file exists in <agkwinpath>\IDE\common\include.

If the file is not there, then your installation did not work properly.
