AppGameKit Classic Chat / "AddVirtualButton" causing an exception.

In tier 2, just updated to v1088 and using the "template_vs10_v1088.zip" from http://appgamekit.wikispaces.com/Templates.

Even with an empty fresh project that is set up correctly will still throw an exception if "agk::AddVirtualButton(1,10,10,10);" is called.

Any ideas?.

Yup, I also reported this and it has been reported and confirmed in the google list.

But I didn't get any response to my post in this Forum.

The error only occurs in Windows (I tested it in iOS and Android Tier 2) and only in Tier 2.

Hopefully, since this is the second post on the issue, someone at TGC will notice and do something about it.

Quite annoying but there we are.
I'm also getting another problem with the edit boxes. The same configuration with a new template entering this code in the app begin:
agk::CreateEditBox(1);
agk::SetEditBoxPosition(1,1,1);

Also sync in the app loop.

I cannot see the text being entered whilst typing. The text is being entered as I can get the text from the edit box after, but I just can't see it during.
Any ideas on this?.

Just tried this on Mac OS X and can confirm both of these issues are AppGameKit windows issues.

The EditBox text display is also a known and reported issue.

Both of the issues in this post are why my current WIP is staying in v1076.

I don't get either of these problem in the latest version (which is now significantly different from 1088) so hopefully the next beta will fix this for you.

I think all but #510 in the list have been vetted (with testable examples) by the Community Testers and/or AppGameKit programmers in the TGC AppGameKit CT site.
