Is it possible to put a g+ (Google+) button somewhere in-game?
This would go a long way for app promotion, making it easy for the user to share the app with his/her friends.

QUESTION: how do you put links in your sig?!?!?

i think yes because you can send data to a web service via the http commands. but i think also , how you can get the user account data/name from device, else the +1 will be anonymous, i don't know its possible at google. i know you can open the browser in game with a url.

Don't have the answer to that. But regarding links in sig. You use the href tags. Same as if you click link when typing a forum post. To hide the URL you use href=.

This is the code that makes my sig:

Thanks Digital Awakening, a G+ 'like' button would be very useful, if anyone figures out how, I'll be really thankful, in fact, I'll give you a free version of Dodge those Balls!!!!! (ok, so it's free anyhow, oh well )

Ok, thanks, though I don't see how you could integrate this into an app, apart from sending them to a webpage on a server that contains a g+ button.

I'm no javascript expert but it seems like the button accesses a file at Google and I would guess that Google somehow knows the page you access it from.

Does any other app do this?

There is a +1 button on your Play Store page, maybe encourage people to click that?

here is a working html example.
but i think you should make a web site (home page) at google sites (its free) and
open a browser from the game via button.
i put in a company url www.btnet.de at link as test referer.
if you are not signed in(i think the browser use cookies) a new window with google login appears.

Ok, I just realized that you can probably just open the url to the app on the Play Store and they can g+ or rate easily.
