I wanted to see what would happen if I tried to put some of our advanced rendering code on the iPad. It turns out it actually runs, at 60 FPS:

Nice one, that looks pretty solid! Mobile devices are getting more and more powerful all the time, it's kinda ridiculous now! My previous PC couldn't even run anything with graphics that good xD

I'm definitely interested, I am currently using a pretty low-quality OpenGLES 2.0 engine for my iPad app right now and since my app centers around designing in 3D, the better the graphics I can get in there the better the experience for the user.

Keep us updated for sure.

This isn't the first deferred renderer on a mobile device by the way - Forever Drive used deferred rendering on iOS (on an iPhone in fact) about 2 years ago.
