I'm still using beta 8 while I wait for working tier 2 templates for beta 9 so this might be fixed in beta 9.

I've tested this in tier 1 and 2 and have the same result.

Uncap the sync rate and create a main object in the global scope then instance that and immediately delete it each sync. The FPS continually drops.

We tested a bit and it looks leaky.
FPS in 1088 would go from 1500 right down to 150 and slowly decrease from there. It went all the way down to 10FPS.
It started at about 31,000k memory usage and slowly went up to 32,484k.
In 1089 the FPS was solid at 3600.

I just tested this in the latest (TGC internal) version of AppGameKit which is not much ahead of the latest beta and I get a steady 1900 fps for around 5 minutes (then I got bored). Seems to be fixed.

Yeah Sean in the irc channel tested it in both beta 8 and 9 and it didn't happen in beta 9, so must be fixed.

By the way, a bit of marketing for the IRC channel...

/server irc.freenode.net
/j #appgamekit

would be nice to see more people in there. There's just me and Sean and were starting to get lonely.

Edit: Heh, just realised Naphier is Sean

Come join us in the IRC room! Many good discussions on who's tried what, what works like this and doesn't work like that, programming methodology, and more!
