My game is set indoors on a bright day. What is the best ambient light level (with red, green and blue as well) and what light colour should I use for my windows which would also be projecting light?

One more thing, my dynamic lights are odd, they tend to flicker on and off when I move around, how do I fix that and should I use static or dynamic lighting for windows like this?

...And another thing, in some of my rooms, I have no lights as it will be affected by ambient lighting. However, this produces no shadows on objects. How do I give these entities shadows, but keep it lit via ambient lighting?

I prefer to use 7 for ambience and for light colour I use brown white, here hex code for your light "9a9a9a" (Paste it in Light Color of your light marker)

I suggest you to use static light for this.

That's all I can help you.

so hex code 9a9a9a is used for lights coming from the windows? And wouldnt ambient level 7 be too dark?

For some reason, dynamic objects seem to disappear as well.

It doesn't to dark for me but If you don't like 7 maybe you can change it to 9 or 10.

You can only have 6-8 dynamic lights on within certain range at any time, I believe this is a directx limitation not just FPSC.
If more than this its dependent on distance as to which ones are lit.
Only use dynamic lights if you want to switch on off or perhaps a flicker effect.

If its say a large hall with tube lighting then use less dynamic lights with a larger range and script alt texture so it appears that many lights are in the scene if turning off and on.
