Its been a while since I last posted a model up here. I have had quite a few freelance projects on but I have finally finished them but one. This one is for me though as I now have to change career so this will hopefully form part of my new portfolio. Still unwrapping at the moment and depending on how much I get disturbed by the girl I may get it done today.

I will be baking the track and the wheels everything else for the normal I will be doing a height map and then merging the two.

Currently just under 4000 polys

Looks really sweet. If you want C&C on the mesh you might post a wireframe.

This looks very cool, the only thing I can think of is the top looks a little flat compared to the wheels. You might be able to add just a little extra detail to the top.

Nicely Done.
Great texture.
Have you tried the free program Xnormal.
I use it and it works great.

you could bake a high poly version.

That's a very nice tank! Makes you want to put it in a scene.

Thanks for the nice comments guys its always nice to receive encouragement for ones endeavors.

I apologise for not replying sooner but I have been upgrading my computer and have only just completed it. Unfortunately the hard drive that had this model on suffered an unfortunate accident with a rather less than empty bottle of beer during the rebuild and fear it has now been lost.

I already had the high poly mesh and was about to finalise the bake ( I normally do this in Max as I can control the results far easier ) and then adjust in photoshop to add the finer detail however I have been playing with the demo for Ndo2 recently and I really like the work flow and will likely be switching over to this shortly.

RIP the comet model.

But don`t worry a kickass replacement model is on its way.
