Jewel Master is a out of the box prototype solution. The base has been built with the mechanics allowing you to further build upon the game and tunrn it into a profitable game for retail. It was writen in Vb .Net 2010 which allows it to be easly port it over to ASP for web based game. If your interested in this prototype, we can convert it to c# as well if needed.

The video displays how to play the game and some of its mechancis. The solution comes with solution/source code, art, documents and project concepts to expand the software.

It doesn't look bad, but hasn't this kind of thing already been done time and time again?

Also it'd be better in a mainstream language like PHP.

It’s a prototype, designed to be a base game for someone to buy and expand it. It’s just a little over 2k lines of code, documented, commented and professionally written. For example as stated in the document; you could add power up system, convert it to a web based game, use it to promote a business etc. It has many uses and acts as a base for whom ever buys the rights to the software/source code & art assests.
