Hi All,

My all new \\\'Sprite Placer\\\' program is nearing Version 1.0 Beta and I thought the community may be interested in an early look? (Screenshot attached)

I started this project as I need much better control over Sprite Placements for my games and wanted to add as much of the \\\'Donkey Work\\\' in game design to the editor, here are some of the features done:

1. Layout File saving with target display size frame
2. Scrolling image library to select new Sprite from
3. Library sprite parameter setting and saving
4. Click n Drag sprites to position
5. Cursor Keys 1 pixel position nudging
6. Full sprite data display panel
7. Sprite Rotation 1 degree, Fast and 0.1 degree
8. View Offset scrolling in all directions
9. View Offset return to origin button
10. Click n Drag to select multiple sprites on screen
11. Multiple selected sprite movement with mouse or keys
12. Select multiple sprites by Group
13. Animation settings and save
14. Save and Save As layouts for multiple layout files

WORKING ON FOR V1.0 BETA RELEASE:

1. Display ruler
2. Guides
3. Snap To
4. Alignment
5. Build Function (build a block of sprites from one selected)
6. Export and Import

NEW FEATURES:

1. Sprite Physics setting and testing
2. Impulse, Force and Explosion testing on Sprites with Physics

Hope you find this of interest?

ANY COMMENTS / REQUESTS PLEASE REPLY....

Cheers

Hmm... could even be a viable alternative to my Placement Editor Professional... drat. Even so, I doubt it's as well finished as mine is and mine is almost certainly easier to use, so there's still hope
