Another question.....

I was trying out the .x to .obj converter and since my models had limb meshes they all got reset back to 0,0,0 even though it had offsets. That was the glitch...now the question...

Does agk retain color data on a .obj file?

if so it does not on the .x to obj converter.

This page seems to have the most talk about the format:
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&b=41&t=198739&p=2

I think that the format should look something like this

There is currently no animation support.

There is an exporter python script on that page that I Have tried and it seems to work fairly good.

.obj files don't contain color data. Textures ale other material data go to .mtl files (which agk currently doesn't read AFAIK)

.obj files contain only vertices and faces, no offsets

The .obj I export from Blender keeps their offset when I load them in AGK

My hovercraft is full of eels

that's because blender transforms vertices with offset and then resets the offset to zero before exporting

interesting.... ok thanks.

I think I will wait till they roll something standard out then before I get started looking at [.ago]

incase they start making drastic changes to it.

@brendy boy.... how hard is it to adapt to your bbb plugin if I was a heavy blue gui user?

Are most of blues stuff covered with bbb?

i don't know, never used blue gui. Have a look at bbb gui examples to see what it looks like and you'll see if it's easy for you or not
