Hey everyone!! First post here. I'm currently taking a C++ class for college and the second part of our text book deals with using AGK.

Please take a look at the following code:

I need to modify this program so that the bowling balls move in random directions. If a ball reaches the edge of the screen, it should change directions. If the balls collide, they should be repositioned back at their random locations.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Sure we can help, but have you even tried the solution yourself yet? If you're stuck on something then ask a specific question, but we're not going to do your homework for you. The point of the assignment is for you to learn something.

Yeah, you should go through the code and understand how it all works, then consider what has to change, or be added to meet the requirements. One problem with getting help here, is that your tutor will expect the code to be solved in a specific way, and the chances are we would handle things completely differently than that example. Like, really those bowling balls variables should be stored in a typed array, but that's no good if your tutor hasn't covered arrays yet - and if you can't answer questions on what has been changed, then it's doing more harm than good.

For example, you might want to use variables to control the speed, which can be randomized and inverted easily. That might be a good way to proceed, but it's always best to make the changes yourself and understand them. If you get stuck with the details then the forum is always here.
