any way to determine this?
if one press with a small finger then the other i want the app to act accordingly ... any suggestions?

You could measure it. I've got a pretty good idea how big mine are though

Seriously though, no.

Not yet anyway.

Not really getting the idea - are you saying if you use a smaller finger than normal? What happens about children - all their fingers are small.

I believe it is not possible, unless the device itself gives you the information about the touch area. As far as I know , all devices will give you touch points, independently of the size of your finger.
