Just needing clarification, in the documents the command RateApp()
indicates it is to be used on the iOS only, is this still valid?

Yes, I believe so. But for Android all you have to do is instead call:



Where YOURAPPID is the required identifier you've given to your app. So if you made an app and assigned it the ID of com.mycompany.myapp you would use:



Then when your app is published to Google Play that link will open up the device's browser to your app's page. It may not be the most elegant but it works.

I'm more for function than form at the moment, so that will due just fine, thanks x.

Note:
If you take your method one step further you can direct users explicitly to the review form as well by adding "&write_review=true" to the end without the quotes.

So using xCepts example with the extension you would end up with


This would drop your user off right in-front of the rate it form ready for them to type.
