I want to grab an image that is larger than the screen.
I could do this by using setvirtualresolution to a higher value then grab the image and then put the virtual resolution back to its original size.

But this scales the image up...

Somebody know a workaround for this that doesn't scale the image?

I never want what I know.

i think the backbuffer have a fixed size.
maybe you can use zoom, then what you see you can grab
but the resolution is dependent on the backbuffer size.
or you set the viewoffset and make more snapshots but then you have
more images.

When I SetViewzoom back to its original 1.0 it scales the grabbed image. But I think I will use memblocks for this one as you suggested in the other thread.

Thanks again.

you mean a sprite is scaled, the grabbed image is invisible for you,
its only in memory.
