Obviously selling well, but didn't realise they were top ten.
For example, Square Enix's shares have been
going down in the last few years (click '5 Years' to see how big the change is) and pretty much been taking a nose dive and they are only now
deciding to make some changes to the company after making some big losses, so I wasn't expecting to see 3 Square Enix titles, the only one out of the 3 I hear people talk about Tomb Raider and even that has mixed views and hasn't exactly made up for losses. I knew they still made good sales, but I didn't expect them to make top 10.
Also notice that Crysis and Call of Duty aren't on the list. See I would have expected at least one of them to hit the list. Yes, Battlefield 3 was on there at least.
Also, I don't think your list of predictions is accurate, I mean, if they were, wouldn't we have seen some of the other titles in the series appear in the list linked? I don't think your usual cynicism really applies.
In conclusion, the list obviously serves a purpose in providing some information. It tells us what's topping digital sales. Yes, we know games made by large companies and games in popular series will make a lot of money, but that doesn't really serve the purpose of a chart. The purpose of a chart is to compare who is making the most sales. Why would we need to know this? Prolly just a matter of interest.
