I just finished this game and... wow. Amazing storytelling. Really intense. It's not anything I'll forget any time soon.

(NOT "the walking dead: survival instinct")

[edit]
Posting this because the ending is gutwrenchingly awesome, and I think I need group counseling on the forum to get over mental trauma.

Spoilers in tags

I really enjoyed The Walking game. I did get emotionally attached to the characters. I ran hot and cold with Kenny, sometimes I liked him, sometimes I didn't. However, during the scene in Episode 3

I haven't played the final episode a second time so I don't know if I can change the ending but

If you break it down into its game parts, it's not much of a game per se. But as a whole experience it is simply amazing. I can also understand the people who don't like it because they just want to shoot zombies. For me, it was primarily a story you played through and made limited choices. The time limit on the choices was perfect, I made decisions in the heat of the moment that felt right but perhaps given more time I wouldn't have made.

My first play through was done, with no reloading, every decision was final. Sometime I felt bad
and other times I felt good even though the decision was not morally right

I'm looking forward to Season 2, and hope it's at least as good as I found Season 1 to be. I'm also looking forward to trying out The Wolf Among Us when they release it.

Just bought this game for £26 literally last night, aaargh! After deliberating for months to get it as well!

Haven't had a chance to sit down and play yet, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. Hell, it even won a BAFTA.

I was a little disappointed that choices didn't seem to carry over between episodes (for example I saved Carley but then in episode 2 she wasn't there), but other than that I'm really enjoying it so far.

D: weird, it carried over for me. But, about carley... if you save her

@Thraxas
I liked Kenny until
But at the end, he became one of my favorite characters:

Game was great, an amazing experience - among the best experiences ever as far as gaming is concerned - I played it, doing the kinds of choices I feel I would've done IRL.

It was a massive emotionalt rollercoaster

I'm only up to the Pharmacy at the moment. Finding it hard to get the time to sit down and play this! D:

The intro was actually pretty intense, given how vulnerable the player is.

Resurrecting this thread to give a notice to fans on this board. Clem and Lee's voice actors will be Livestreaming a playthrough of the final episode, and it starts in twenty minutes!

I'm anticipating massive feels here.
