in case someone wonder, its NOT a game. its an Anime called Sword Art Online

i recently found out about that anime, and decided to share it cuz im very adicted to it right now.
currently im at episode number 15 and i still see forward to it.

I will explain a little bit of it in my own words, i hope you all will understand..

basicly, there is a japanice realtime word, where there is a new MMORPG game for gamers is out! the game broke all the records of graphics and sold to about 10k copies wich is quite a lot.

when those people enter to that mmorpg using the helment technology that controls over their mind, they discover that they stuck at that world for ever! or untill they finish the game. its very exciting anime, and there is lots of stuff going on there.

and what anime could not be without some LOVE/Passion?
the main hero wich is a SOLO player discovers a love of his life and.. like HEK ill tell you the rest!
you will have to watch!

first episode:

Have to agree, it's a pretty good one. One of my favourites from last year and was kinda sad to see it end, could have gone on for so much longer.
Especially in the beginning things could have been stretched out to last for a couple more episodes, the whole "permadeath in real life" scenario was pretty interesting.

The .hack animes are similiar, as in, about people in a mmorpg, may want to check that out if you haven't watched it yet.

when i saw there are 100 floors of different levels, i though there will be at least 100 episodes just for that

but then they cheated and jumped from 1 to 20, to 30 and so on
then they "hacked" and killed the lvl 100 boss at stage 75

too bad that this anime is not ongoing anymore, i would be adicted to it for ever..

Seems like it could be interesting, the concept seems good, might check it out. Wonder if it reflects real MMOs, you know, with player names like xxxpwnsyomomma26xx?

However, I have been looking for new animes to watch, I've managed to get my dad into watching them, so far got him into Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Evangelion Rebuild 1.11 & 2.22, Ghost in the Shell and currently working through Death Note with him (I've seen it all before, but I thought he'd like it). I've also watched through Eden in the East, the original series of Evangelion, the original Fullmetal Alchemist series and Hellsing. I tried Afro Samurai as Samural L Jackson and Ron Perlman in an anime sounds awesome, but I just found it boring, at least the first 2 episodes.

Might as well see if anybody's got any recommendations?

I've seen all of Death Note, though I've nearly finished rewatching it as my dad seems to enjoy it.

One Piece and Naruto don't seem like my cup of tea, but I guess I should be open minded, it wasn't THAT long ago I held the opinion anime sucks.

Here's a link to it from a not so ad-obsessed website.

Excited to watch, thanks!
