"In Eden" is a top-down, first-person survival shooter set on Earth in 2059. You play a convicted criminal sent to the toxic surface to serve your sentence collecting bio samples and technology to help the population below return to the surface. The more technology and bio samples you return, the quicker your sentence will be over.

Your only protection against the deadly virus is your flimsy bio hazard suit. Your only protection against the wild beasts that roam the surface are your wits.

There are no second chances on the surface; one strike and your're out.

Sounds good.

It also sounds just like the start of the movie "12 Monkeys". But that moved on to going into the past fairly quickly.

Cheers AL,
Funny enough this started out as a prequel game based on 12 Moneys called "A Dozen Simians", but realised early on that it wasn't going to work very well as a story. So I've used the basic setting, but spun my own story.

Plus there is no time travel element.

You need to add some kind of faded edge to that black section behind the player. Watching half the screen rotate constantly gave me a headache.

Cheers Phaelax, I've actually made the torch shadow semi-transparent now to help with this, but the edge still needs softening.

This is looking really good Ched. I am keeping my eyes on this one.

Are you going to have the main protagonist run into other survivors?

Also, I sent you an email earlier.

Jay.
