Just a quick video, showing one way of getting isometric sprite depth to work.

Thanks Ancient Lady! I'm surprised, not many views so far, perhaps I should have put tutorial, or how to on the title maybe?

Thank you for making the tutorial. I thought it was very good.
And please make more. We can never have enough tutorials.

"ugh I need a new keyboard, this one is worn out. Can't see any of the letters"
lol, I laughed when you said that. Who still looks at their keys when typing?

I've never liked video tutorials of any kind. Nothing personally against yours.

Thanks Ranietz, I'm still thinking on what to do next. Phaelax, er Thanks, I think? I'm not entirely sure lol, I always like video tutorials myself, nothing like seeing it actually done in front of you. Did it not help with your Iso engine?

Your initial explanation was helpful enough. My main probably I think was that my other objects (like your house) was broken into separate tiles and that caused weird things.

It's hard to reference video tutorials with code. Constantly pausing to read the code (changing it to 1080 so I can actually read it), trying to rewind to find something previous.

Ah, I can see your point. Still pausing every now and then isn't so bad. The resolution thing is a pain, I'm not sure why the video seems to default at crappy 480p. There may be a setting I am missing, it should really run in HD (if it can) automatically.

I'm not sure what the problem would be by using smaller tiles offhand. What weird things were you getting?

I cannot read the code you write. Can you enhance resolution or better, zoom on the code window?

YouTube always starts at 480.

Camtasia is good at doing this stuff, because you can make it auto zoom around the mouse pointer.

Marco, change the quality to 720 or 1080p in Youtubes settings, otherwise it looks rather blurry at 480p. I could try capturing at 720 p next time and make the text bigger possibly? Not sure if 1080p is too much. Let me know if changing the quality helps.
Jim, Camtasia looks rather expensive if my memory serves me correctly. Hopefully lowering the capture res would be the best bet.
Stormwire, Thanks! Much appreciated!
