AppGameKit Classic Chat / Templates for tier 1?

When I create a new tier 1 project in AppGameKit I get to choose between "AGK Generic project", "AGK Landscape project" or "AGK Portrait project". Is there a way for me to create my own templates like those?

I searched this forum for templates but all I could find was about tier 2...

You used to be able to - I did it once, but it was a hack and slash job and had to be redone with updates.

In the end I gave it up and switched to having a template project in the workspace that I copy instead. Being a user file, it's not affected by updates.

The template project uses include files in a common location so there is less to copy.

I haven't really used the workspace before so it never occured to me that I could use that for my templates. I'll give that a try.
