Ok so now I know how to smack moles But I would like to know how to make a "proper" game like a platform/adventure game using spritesheets, tilemaps and so on. Are there any good tutorials about this somewhere?

several forum-members that have ventured into making plaform-games have posted reports of their techniques and progress. From the top of my head, you can take a look at:

Cliff Mellangard's Jump Pixel Framework (comes with source-code!) and MarcoBruti's MrOttoBeat.

I only want to Point out that my framework is broken from version 108 beta .
The early betas is it working but they fixed a collision shape bug in one of the betas that make all the collision SHAPEs wrong in my framework.
But if you are using agk version 107 so is its all ok

The error is very simple as all SHAPEs for the tile map loader neads to be adjusted to the bug fix they made.

I have planned on fixing this issue as soon as i get the time to do so.
But my current Project takes all my time.

seams i fixed it to work with beta 108 - 6 the last time?

A bit of advice: Don't make a character that holds a cigarette. That is not as acceptable or cool as it used to be. And you might run into problems with age restrictions etc. Also you are kind of stealing this thread. Please post these kind of things on the WIP board.

there were pictures before with something that look like a cigarette but is not really filled with tabaco , enough said.

I saw the pictures before. I didn't understand how it wasn't a cigarette especially with the last panel.

MonDieu72 and all newcomers please hold, i just built an awesome platformer over night and i want to publish it on google play
so please be patient , i will publish it and release the source code and tutorial on how i did it it is soooo funny wow my girl animation ROCKS!

ok just to let you know

Tier used : Tier 1 Basic Style.

1. Tile System - WORKS 100 percent done.
2. Tile Texture System - WORKS 100 percent done
3. Moving Platform System - WORKS 90 percent Done.
4. Enemy Entity System - Works 60 percent done.
5. Player Entity - Works 60 percent Done including 3 frames for each State , States: Idle,Run,Jump
6. 2D Physics - 100 percent Done since AppGameKit uses Box2D it is very easy to master and implent.
7. 2D World - Done 100 percent .
8. 3D World - you will be able to choose how you want to play , 2D or 3D - havent got to that part yet , waiting for everything else to be done , since on 3D you just add the Z value to it and it can be done in one hour.
9. Particles System - Done 100 Percent , again since AppGameKit particles are easy to use and master , it is very easy to implent.
10. Android Device Testing - Works Flawlessly.

in my NewComers Backers Platform App/Game you will be able to Build and Play in Real Time.
im trying to put as many AppGameKit features inside it while not loosing the 60 FPS advantage.

it will also inclue a full Video tutorial on Both Code and Game Engine, will be released for Android Market for free and also will be represented here with Code and Media Content.
