Hi i was trying to compile a basic program in the IDE and i get the text saying.

AGK cannot find the compiler. Go to Settings Menu > Compiler and click Auto-Detect.

I have tried setting the path & auto-detect but still get the same message, also the examples project compiles and runs ok but not my own projects. I am using AppGameKit Windows - v1076.

Thanks Chunks.

Have you tried re-installing AppGameKit?

Suggest setting properties to run as administrator. Had some odd problems in the beginning which dissappeared once administration check box was enabled. . Good luck

I had this problem with both trial and with v1076 and reinstalling didn't help.

I found a way around it, but it's really a PITA.

Exit AppGameKit, and open your *.cbp file in a text-editor (notepad will do, but I used vim) and change any place you see:

to say:

Save the file and open it back up in AppGameKit and it seems to compile fine.
