Ok...if ur like me.....I had to convince my wife to invest in this for my *retirement* years LOL.... anyway, id LOVE to be a pledger but itd be another budget convo to do so....

My question is this..... when Reloaded comes out...... do we get a free upgrade like other companies? Or did I just paint myself in the corner?

I highly doubt as backers have paid for the reloaded system you would get a free upgrade.

It seems TGC is treating reloaded as a separate new program to be charged separately just like FPSC X10. Which is standard practice for any company.

reloaded is a complete new product and is not an upgrade to fpsc v1.

Like all companies when a new number or product comes out you have to pay again you don't get free updates with new version only upgrades to the version you getting.

Some companies will give you a free upgrade if you purchase say the older product in like a 6 month period before the new release.

If you just purchased FPSC then I say its looking like you paint yourself in a corner as reloaded is going to cost more that normal fpsc v1.

The only way to find out is to contact support and see what they say if they give discounts for people who just purchased the product.

I was SO afraid of that..... I came in on EOL for fpsc.... I mean really? Why spend more man hours on an out-dated release? Sigh......totally my fault.... I cant help but feel cheated... but I understand. .. its business. .... do pledgers get a copy of reloaded? Thats my leverage .... my problem is that I stay busy with my mobile dj service now and she was reluctant anyway...... being a gamer / EA SPORTS vet - I see the full potential of this product. ....I was just about to grind some quick levels and then I had this question. ... thanks for the help..... I still have time to pledge if we get a copy......otherwise im stuck in sub-par while new people get a head start. .... again... its business. ..not personal......

......doggone.... u guys have the best beginner game maker....I wish those of us that DIDN'T pirate and supported earlier versions get shown just a little love....

Either way....... 2 thumbs up.... keep up the good work....looks like I gotta romance the wife again
