Hi All,

Thanks for any time and help on this. I have not used FPSC before, and I'm curious to find out if a catapult game like this might be possible with FPSC. I created this using 3ds Max with MassFX and the MassFX ragdoll;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGy9433MDlo

The idea would be, allow players to move the catapult & launch it at a target (a moving target would be best/better challenge). Using ragdoll & having a scoring system would be great.

I'll be sure to start going through tutorials and learning Fps. Thanks again for any feedback .

Hi joshpurple and welcome to FPSC
To answer your question, I don't see why not. Almost anything is possible with a little work, and when we do have a snag there is always a work around. Do a search on "ragdoll" with the search at the bottom. You'll be surprised how much has been done already.
The "scoring system" is just scripting.(very easy)
Grab these when you have a chance.

And when you do have a problem, don't hesitate to ask for help.
Everyone here is very helpful. Good luck

Well, to be perfectly honest.

You could possibly replicate something like this with a lot of work but I strongly advise against using FPSC for it.

Personally I would say that its nearly impossible to get decent results. The physics system and the ragdoll system (which is still a little buggy) are not cut out for this. In fact, FPSC's Physics aren't good.

Having a catapult that actually launches ragdolled things...well, I dont think thats at all possible.

I'd say you are better off taking a look at Dark Basic or Unity.

I'd agree with Wolf on this. But instead of Unity, check out Neoaxis or Unreal Engine. There are tutorials on creating a catapult system for either engine. Neoaxis sports ragdoll out of the box. Fpsc Reloaded could possibly be capable of this in the future because it's liking amazingly promising.
