No, do a paypal pledge and they will add it to your account, make sure you do a bronze level combo pledge.

I think TGC needs to change this. Since the Kickstarter is over, to not anger those who pledged in time. Do a $50 or $60 deal where you buy v1 now and get access to v2. Once the first beta is available there needs to be a price increase, and allow people to only buy v1. Since there will probably be an upgrade offer for v1 users down the line, the price for v1 can't go down.

I am pretty certain that when V2 comes out, it simply replaces V1. It is an expansion on what currently exists, not a completely new product.

V1 is simply the current v1076 (full release) or v10817 (beta release).

The Kickstarter page does say:
Quote: "App Game Kit (AGK) will be a new and enhanced version of our current App Game Kit product."


But I got the impression from discussions that the core AppGameKit V2 is based on current V1, with updates and fixes to the IDE and additional functionality.

So, in theory, V2 should be able to compile all of your V1 code (any Tier).

No, sorry for the misunderstanding.

In response to some of the other posts, the Kickstarter effort is done and I don't imagine that TGC means to take additional pledges through PayPal. I could be wrong about that. You can still get to that page, but it does say that the campaign ended on the 9th.

I suspect that V1 owners will be able to upgrade for a price that is lower than buying the whole AppGameKit V2 product. But I don't know anything official about that. It just makes sense to me.

EDIT: If you had pledged prior to the effort closing, and pledged enough, then you get V2 for free.
