I am just starting working with 3DS Max and i have been previously using blender for a few months. This is not the typical showcase thread as it will be just my first attempts at modeling in 3DS Max. Also i might ask a question or two, and also accepting any input or tips from you.

Lastly before i show you my first weapon attempt i would like to say if anyone would like to help me with uv mapping, animating, rigging and/or getting it fpsc ready for weapons feel free to say so. If this is not allowed because it may be classified as a team request can a mod please say so and i will edit the page.

So now my first attempt at modeling a M4, It is not textured, uv mapped or anything like that.

ingame shot

Unless you have a screenshot of that AR in FPSC, you should have posted this in the 3D chat board

Good luck with 3DsMax.

Fixed.

The T-Hawk6 is still a wip i would like to animate rig and put it into fpsc as a weapon. If anyone cold give me a tutorial, link to one, or resources i would appreciate it.

I have to take off the download link since i was forgetting that i have been using the student version! Please accept my apologies and if you have downloaded it to delete it off your hard drive.

Hi Tomahawk
Nice work so far. Looks good
The cannon, will it just be a static entity or dynamic with animation? Whenever I model something with wheels and an axel
I have a hard time UV mapping the wheels. My textures never seem
to align properly. But keep it up!
best luck

Nice, but honestly, I think the M4 looks more like an M16 than an M4

I can hardly see the difference of the two weapons so you are most likely right. Also thanks
