Hi, I am trying to add buttons over a video, I can get the video to play and the button draws under the video. does anyone know a way I can draw on top a video while it is playing?

Thanks!

My understanding is that the video is always on top and we can't change that. At least not at this point.

I made some tests with sprites and tried pushing them to the top and still no luck. I'm an animator and have been teaching myself programming for some time now. I want to create an animated short maybe 5 min in length and create a dragons lair style game using AGK.
when the video is playing you can still get input and you can still hit buttons that are under the video so there is still hope!

thanks for your quick response to my questions

On iOS you can do it using AppGameKit and OBJ C.

This might require a comment from Paul but I know we managed it in the Driving Test Success hazard app. There was a bit of in house discussion on how to achieve this due to the nature of how video is displayed.

It might be that some other method was used on that app but I think it was possible to do this somehow...

It is currently not possible to have sprites displayed above video on any platform, and currently I don't know of a way we could add it.
