Hey guys I didn't see a thread like this on this board so i decided to make one! Basically you can just share your thoughts about Battlefield 4 and if you think you are going to get it.

Me, i am going to preoder the digital deluxe and most likely get the premium.

Also if you have any info on the game feel free to post it here.

The best game I have ever played in my entire life!!! My mom loves BF4, my dad loves BF4, even my dog loves BF4! I have bought 10 copies of the game for every family member - that is how much we love that game! My dad is a BF4 champion in Western Europe, my dog in Eastern. My mom learns to play BF4 and want to rename herself to Katrin Battlefield! I play BF4 for 20 hours a day, listen BF4 soundtrack in spare time and eat BF4 corn flakes every day! I have 10000 BF4 posters! So I have had to put them on all walls in my house and on my street too! City mayor was so kind because he is a BF4 fan as me! I have bought a special BF4 mouse to plug it directly in my brain to play BF4 with my hands free, so I can write BF4 fanfics during gameplay! My parrot is the founder of 5 BF4 fan sites! My goldfish has died because BF4 is so awesome and she can't stand it's awesomness! I wear the outfit of main character when I go to the job. And my boss loves that outfit because he is huge BF4 fan too! He even allows us to play BF4 while we working. We even want to rename our "Cesspool Cleaning Services Inc." to "Battlefield 4 Fan Club Servises Inc."!

What was the point of all that Handy? For starters, the game hasn't even been released yet.

As for your image, the majority of people I see on COD are in their 30s or 40s.

Battlefield graphics look nice. I wish they'd have a downloadable trial.

What the difference will be? IMO same game. I mean, looking on your sig, you play a lot, so why you want to play the new one? Better graphics?

Personally, I was a big fan of the older BF games but they have been getting worse. BF3 was way to rushed (it wasn't "bug free" until half a year after release) and EA just tried to pump as much money out of it as possible.

On top of that BF seems to be the new COD with every bit of seriousness replaced by "your mom" or people being kicked for being good. The only servers remaining are 100000000 tickets caspian border/metro which im very very tired of.

IMO BF3 does not have anything special either (the graphics don't even look that good IMO) so I don't realy have any reason to be excited for BF4

Besides, I can do everything I can do in BF3 plus a lot more in Arma3 which has a much more friendly community

Doesn't it boring playing same game over and over, and the new one offers the same... Even WOW have expansions that at least tried to refresh the game. I think playing BF3 for a year-two is enough, better find a new online game on next year-two.

I enjoy Battlefield games and every new game they try to make it different from previous one, which is a good thing.

Overall, it may look and feel about the same, but I don't want to be stuck playing Battlefield 3 for years and not get anything refreshing. That's one big reason why people buy new games, because it is a little different from the previous game and has new features.

Basically I can sum up am the responses at once I want bf4 mainly because I am not even close to tired of bf3 I haven't even had it for a year! Also battlefield for has levelution that I feel will be awesome! Also I will have a lot more fun sinse I am deciding to get premium. I can understand if I had played bad company 2 then bf3 I would be board but I just gut into the battlefield series a few months ago when bf3 was on sale that I feel like by the time I get sick of bf4 Star Wars battlefront 3 will be out. And I'm really exited about that.

I can say that I have been playing the battlefield series on pc and console since battlefield 2, (including the sidestory games like bad company and 1942), and I am all the same very excited for battlefield 4. To a degree you could call me a fanboy, but it goes a little beyond that. I play plenty of other games, including call of duty and non fps games. I am a member of a clan I have been loyal to on Battlefield (and spec ops for a period of time) for 5 or 6 years. The clan will be moving over to the new game. Furthermore my fondest moments in gaming are in Battlefield. Just as they are trying (and largely failing imo) to promote, there are so many epic "only in battlefield" moments to experience. No battlefield game is ever the same as the previous, though this may be a slight exception. The gameplay appears to be remarkably similar to battlefield 3, but the destruction and levolution and several other new mechanics are going to have immense implications for the way the game plays. I also really enjoyed battlefield 3 (once they got all the bug fixes in) so I am confident that this will only improve the experience. For anyone that bothered to read that full statement, that is my five cents.

I absolutely loved Bad Company 2. BF3 not so much. I imagine BF4 will be more of the same, looking forward to Bad Company 3.

Probably played BF2142 the most out of the whole series. Something about the mechanics of it are just lost in the newer ones, although it may just be the lack of awesome floating hover tanks.

I once found a video that was like this, except instead of "stupid" and "texas" they were saying "battlefield 3" and "battlefield 4", respectively. So yeah, I'm not impressed at all with bf4, and not to keen about spending $110 for the game+dlc and being pressured into preordering(despite that it's a download game).

Arma 3 is best game.

And that picture comparing the "average cod player" and "average bf player" is totally bullcrap, you know that right? Battlefield players have some weird elitism even though at this point it's clearly nothing more than an arcade fps, like cod.

*sigh* @ Cod vs BF
did we have to start that one up again...

Well well - I love both series - theyre different kinds of games.
comparing the two is just bloody stupid.

As for BF4 - i wont get it, and that's only because EA is going to ruin it, with Map packs and silly expansions (instead of just putting it into one big expansion) - which will just simply split up the community over and over and over again. Heck - I bought BF3, and a month later I can hardly find a server whcih I can play on - because it circles the map pack maps aswell - meaning i'll get kicked out after a map.

so no - I wont buy BF4 for the same reason that I wont buy any new cod game.

Intersting opinions on BF4.

IMHO CS (GO not played yet) and Unreal still the best shooters.
Why?
1. No DLC milking.
2. No akill and weapon "unlocking", i.e. no artifical game prolonging.
3. Custom maps.
4. Everybody always have same chance to win.

BF looks like sanbox full of children, but it meant to be serious warfare game.
