FPSC Classic Scripts / Trying to make my main Menu to my game a video

I made a video for my game to use as the background,but i have no idea how to make that work? what format?, or maybe i have to take pictures of every frame and then do that? I'm just stuck thanks

Funny thing I've had fpsc for 5 years and i still don't know some of the basics of it

I take it your not referring to an "Intro" video, correct? In the syntax list there is an action called
"BACKDROPVIDEO=X. Description: This sets a video played in the background for out-of-game moments"
Example: :state=1:backdropvideo=backdrops\newgame.avi
I believe both avi & wmv's work. As I have never used this action before I am not sure if it works. Worth a try though

With my experiences backdropvideo doesn't work (at least in the latest v120).

But here, take a look a this thread, it uses individual frames to make an animated menu. Check out the second script as it has a looping menu.

I have tried each of these and they look awesome, its made my game look better then it really is! thanks for the help!

I've had fpsc for 5 years and i still don't know most of the basics of it -_-
