At the very first step:
Quote: "First you need to duplicate the apps\interpreter folder and rename it to apps\yourapp_appup"

Where is this folder apps\interpreter?? I see nothing describing that.

Never mind. Found it in the AppGameKit program folder. They might want to add that bit of info.

tier 1 I believe they refer to basic
tier 2 is c++

what your doing sounds like a c++ if you need the interpreter files.

however if its basic...then you can find your new application with the interpreter inside the agk file system where it installed.

The instructions for Tier 1 are describing the downloading of Visual Basic Studio and Intel AppUp Software Debugger.

Where is the Intel AppUp Software Debugger? I am at the AppUp developer site and search... I get a forum post of another AppGameKit user looking for the same thing but with no replies since the post in June.

So has anyone performed the Windows deployment? If yes, where did you find the debugger?

After some more looking around on the AppUp developer site, it appears that they have suspended the uploading of apps for a time.

They are not allowing downloads of the SDK until that time is up.

I still cannot find Intel AppUp Software Debugger on their site. I suspect it is in the SDK.

After more reading, it appears the AppUp function in the developer page is going away FOR GOOD.

So I am guessing there is no way to create a Windows app as described in the 'guides' section anymore. "...Deploy anywhere..."

for appup....yeah that's dead....but doesn't mean you cant compile a game for windows or mac.

there is plenty of ways to distribute on pc.

id be more interested in getting an app on steam anyways since they have a big gamer audience.

but your games gunna need to survive the green light submition process and get voted up.

in Tier 1, as soon as you compile or run the app from the AppGameKit IDE (F5) the final EXE is automatically created in your product directory. All you must do is ZIP up your project folder (excluding the source code) and anyone else will be able to run it by extracting it and launching the EXE. Optionally you could use an Installer package to create a more formal distribution. From there you can publish it anywhere that accepts such apps.

AppUp is gone, and any instructions relating to that are no longer applicable.
