I have a problem with the shader. The character appears in the game transparent (invisible). I wrote a script (transparency = 100 "setalphafade = 100"). It does not work. The character sometimes appears visible. This problem is at all shader that I used.

FPSC version 18 beta 8 (I need exactly this version of the engine)

I remember Bond1 uploaded a shader that fix this problem. Do you help me please?

If you char is invisible try appear2 script.

A lot of these issues where fixed in newer versions of fpsc.

I would update to the latest version myself but thats upto you.

s4real pointed you in the right direction. Try the "appear2.fpi"
script. It usually works for characters that start transparent.
Also try updating.

Check my script above. I integrated the standard script "appear2.fpi" in my script of appear.

I installed the latest update (not off of 20 beta patch 19). Half of my scripts will generate an error. Dark ax is not working properly. Last update does not solve my problem. Need HELP.

PS Why is this **№+%* the engine is very buggy.

I feel its more you making your scripts wrong than the engine.

The latest version pretty stable but there is a lot of changes and some script conditions and actions have changed.

Update to v1.20beta17a and then install the latest update.

Read the changes in docs folder.

Some old maps may not work in the latest version due to how the newest version builds the map.

I've not had any issues with scripts if they written right what are you trying to do ?

I'm trying to make Nazi Zombies. The logic of the game is ready. Works fine. Dark AI system is built great. The only issue that keeps me going on - transparent characters. I updated the newest patch. But his dark ax works very insane! Where the gap characters pass through it in the air. Where the window, they pass through the wall. Why is this happening? Because of this highly loaded logic entity and FPS downs. I'm sure my problem is due to the shader.

@hukuta94 :- what version of fpsc are you using at the moment.

There is problems with v1.20 beta18 and causes these issues.
