I haven't posted in AGES, and I may be in the wrong board. BUT. I made a game with FPSC (Not Reloaded) with Windows 7, My buddy - who has windows 8 - wants to play my game with me 1v1. He can't open the game because he does not have DirectX9.0c, and there is no download for DIRECTX9 for windows 8. How can he and I play together? Thank!

he must download direct x10 or x11. There are the most x9 ddls included. If it doesn´t work, the error gives you a tipp what file is missing and this he must download it.(google for it)

If you pack your game with Vishnu packer v9.2 it checks to see if dx9 is installed and if not take you to the right one to download.

Also note for windows 8 machine you must include msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll

And place them in the same dir as the Game.
