I have posted a screenshot to: http://screencast.com/t/5QLMTqdO

I am new to FPSC and don't know how to tell the difference between these segments. They all appear to me to be the same so I am sure I don't know where to look to see the differences.

I would appreciate it if somebody could explain to me how to determine what the differences are.

Thank you

@seppgirty

I have and I cannot tell the difference. That is why I am asking for help. The assets are from one of the standard model packs so they obviously each have a purpose for being there. There are also several other rooms in that model pack that also have the same variety of segments, but I cannot tell the difference even though I have place rooms using the different segments. I am new to all this and am missing something that is obvious to others.

Full is a full wall segment for a single height room.

The other are Low, Mid, and top for placing rooms of varying heights.

For this, use the low one for the base of the room. Press the <+> key to go up one level. Use the mid ones for making a few more level high, and top to put a ceiling on the thing.

They are more apparent as to what they are for in the scifi and ww2 sections of segments.

Hope this helps out more.

@Pirate Myke

Thank you. That was the explanation that I was looking for. Now that you explained it to me I see the subtle differences that I didn't notice before.

Thank you.
