Hello Community!

I am using Blue GUI. I have two sepparate windows one is the main dark basic window and other one created in Blue GUI. I want to transfer some lines and names(a list box made from lines and boxes) into the Blue GUI window. How can achieve this?

Thank You very much!!!

If both gadgets (in both windows) are made globel, you can use several commands to get/set/manipulate/delete the text (see BlueGUI Code list, don't know them at the top of my head).

Basically, set one gadgets text (from the other one) and then clear the other one.

I believe its something like these commands

simply set gadget text with string "" will empty it.

TIP
The documentation for BlueGUI is very good, it's got everything covered. If you cannot find a certain command for a specific BlueGUI gadget, its most likely covered by the general gadget commands.

Edit: Grammar fixes...

TIP 02
Every mechanic the BlueGUI commands use, are covered by the supplied demos. You can probably find them in Dark Basic Professionals Projects folder or Help folder. I know there is an example of basic menus.
