It didn't work very well because the bears would get stuck replaying the same attacking animation if the player moved out of the way before the animation was over. They also got stuck when shot. Therefore, I modified the script to make it work better. I thought I should share the script with my modifications.

Here it is (all credit goes to GamerX):

I have absolutely no idea why but all of a sudden my modified script doesn't work! I tried cleaning the dbo and bin files and restarting FPSC. I didn't update FPSC or anything like that since I first made the script.
The bear always gets stuck doing the same animation and just standing there and I can't figure out why.
If someone else could try the script and report the outcome it would be great.

YEs, I think so.

But for me the problem is fixed with my script, so I can´t replicate the issue.

Maybe, but give it some time

A dude or Corno_1
I have not used the "animationover=" yet. I always use
"frameatend". Wondering how it works out for you.
It's basically the same as "frameatend" is it not?

I tried both and the bear still gets stuck. It only starts moving when I shoot it or am within a short distance.

I could give it a look when i get sometime.

It is indeed sad that Reloaded has overshadowed the forums here. I prefer to see FPSCx9 and Reloaded as two different products of TGC rather than Reloaded being an upgraded version of FPSCx9.

Once fpscreator.com linked directly to Reloaded with no way to link back here from there... that's when the forums started to die for FPSCx9.
