These are 2 screenshots from another game i will complete in few days.
The last thing to do is to make the texture of the 3D character in purple (255,0,255) to be able to change the clothes colors with MemBlocks.

This is a remake (with online multiplayer) of the C64 Barbarian game.

I will update this post when completed!!

I can't seem to find my barbarian post anywhere!
This is an old video I'm much further along, but I'm working on the same game.

Used to love this on my old C64..! But, aren't the name, font and character-graphics etc. copywrited?

The old barbarian is not abandonware, but the name is different. In fact on C64 the complete name is different.

Don't worry Codemaster, if you remember, i told you already i started it in August 2013, but i was waiting for the graphic to be completed.

Is 3D->2D.
As you know i hate the 3D games, i do all in 2D or 2D iso.

I'm using my personal fighting engine, i used in Street karate Fighter 2 Online.

It was called Barbarian "the Ultimate Warrior" because Psygnosis was developing a game with the same name at the time.

After reading a bit, Palace Software was sold off to Titus Software in 1991. Titus filed bankruptcy in 2005. It could be considered abandonware but doesn't mean it's still not copyrighted.

Yes... but the name and the kind of game (fighting) is not "copyrightable" so i think is ok.
I found also another version of Barbarian in 3D, but is really a crap game, so i decided to use my fighting engine to do one.

Well the bad part is that my 3D designer is really slow, and i have already released 20 apps while he was painting the barbarian.

So i hope he will move on, and give me the graphic.

I could always change the characters in mine as well as to not use the exact sprites. I already made this one at someone's request (Obese?)

They look nice, but I'm wondering about the slight outline around your sprites. Studio Max can render to a transparent background better than that, you shouldn't be getting that effect.

Eh i know, i have the slowest 3D graphic designer in the world....
While he do 1 frame, i complete 5 games... incredible.
Anyway i think i will avoid it using a more bright background
