I have read posts of DBPro only working on Windows 8 outside of the program Files. I have no way to test anything other than Windows XP. It would be handy to have an installer ready made that works on all Windows up to Windows 8. So that our games are known to work without us having to test them.

It would be good to have the program ready for all DBPro users.

The installer works fine in windows 8.

Just don't install inside program files. When it asks where do you want to install it, choose another location!

That's like knowing how good dinner is without eating it...

Yeah, just use Smart Packer Pro

With Smartpacker Pro you still have to know if the directories for Windows 8 will work. I wanted an installer that is pre tested on All Windows with Direct X built in. Just put you game files in it. It will then install Direct X, and everything else required for you.

I use WinRAR to create a self extracting RAR file.

You can specify it to default to any folder you want.
