Wow, it's actually released! I remember seeing this project on YouTube quite a few years ago, thinking it was really awesome. Can't wait to finally give it a go!
BTW, I would recommend providing the game download as an EXE installer rather than a RAR archive. It takes quite a bit of time to download and install due to the large file size.
[EDIT]
Okay, so I've given the game a go, and overall it's not half bad. The gameplay and level design can get a bit messy in some areas and there are quite a few bugs and slowdowns (although this is mostly from FPSC being so poorly optimized). The major problem I had was when you were required to enter a code to open a door. While it's a cool feature, it doesn't work for me as I am using a laptop without a numeric pad. It would've been nice to have some kind of bypass.
On the plus side, I especially enjoyed the references to games like Half-Life and Doom, the use of recording devices to tell the story (see System Shock, Bioshock, and Doom 3), and the extensive use of custom content and scripting. There were a few scripted events that were a lot of fun to experience such as the zombie falling out of the vents and the soldier hiding while firing at the monster.
Despite some technical issues, I'd say I had a fun time - even though I didn't get to see how it ended...
Hello one and all...
