the search for gnome X

Due to the evident lack of interest from all parts, I will most likely not be uploading any updates to this game. It would be WAY too time consuming to make all 30 levels... So consider this a demo/test/concept. I would much rather move on to a more interesting project!

The story
... is not finished yet... But it goes along the lines of this:
conny the sentimental kungfu-cat has lost his gnome. With the help of the ancient art of kung fu, he intends to retrieve his prized possesion. However, his three mentors have turned against him! They desired the fabled gnome and took it, along with all but two of his kung fu skills. He must now conquer the pseudo world they have placed him in inorder to find and kill the treacherous mentors. You are conny. Good luck

It certainly looks good, but I couldn't actually play it... Left and Right didn't work. The character animates, but doesn't actually move... Made it a bit difficult to play lol...

Also, you can jump continuously (like a jet pack), you may want to alter it so that he can only jump when grounded.

Hmmm... That sure is strange, at the moment I'm using "GetDirectionX ()" for the movement... Which should automatically default to the left/right keys on a pc. I'll change that later. You are supposed to be able to jump continuously!

I'll upload a new version today with working controls!

Its coming along nicely! Love it when you complete a level lol!

I must say though, being able to continuously jump is an interesting concept for a Platform Game. I couldn't help my self and just ended up floating past everything 'Flappy Bird' style...

Oh, and unless I'm going nuts, there is no character on level 2! I can still move the screen about, but its as if the character is either invisible or the depth is out of kilter...

Good work, keep it up...

It is completely possible... However you won't find level 3 that easy! And besides, not getting a "star" on each level will come back and bite your **** in the boss battle... *HINT*

Which version did you play on...? If it wasn't Alpha 0.2 download that and see if you get the same problem! I just tested it on Alpha 0.2 and that didn't happen to me... Let me know!
