I can never remember how to do that. I suspect Windows calls it something else.
Edit Do you mean clear the browsing history? If so I usually try that. Can't recall whether or not I did that yesterday just before it all worked. I usually do that at least once a day anyway.
Edit2 No that doesn't fix it. The problem has just started again on both my and my wife's laptop simultaneously and I tried clearing the cache (
) to no avail
. I suspect it has something to do with pages loading slowly but why that should matter I've no idea. The problem has got worse recently and we're in a very slow broadband area here.
Edit3 Ok problem has now gone away on both machines and, interestingly, the pages concerned now load almost instantly whereas when we have the problems they load, albeit partially, very slowly. Could this be a problem at the Internet provider end - a dodgy output server or something like that?
