Have this problem with the compiler spiting out error in line 2296, but no way to know where is line 2296!It's a project with many include files but every dba file keep track of it's own lines. What are my options?

Check the FullSourceDump.dba file, the referenced line number should be the one in there. I think the new official (Synergy?) editor also tries to find the offending line if you double click on the error message. However it is usually a few lines off to either side.

[DarkbasicPro install dir]/TEMP/FullSourceDump.dba

TEMP will be in the same dir as Compiler, Editor, Help directories

In Indigo you can select from the pulldown menu View/GoTo Line and put the number in there, then it will open the appropriate include file. I don't associate my includes in code though, just through the IDE so I'm not sure if it works with code written includes. If that makes sense.

Thank you Ortu it's good to know.

And Zero G i just tried that. The included files in my project are associated in the IDE, and it managed to find the offending line.Just what i needed, thanks!
