Project Spartan is entirely separate from IE.

Honestly, Windows 10 is looking pretty darn good. They came to my school's ACM Tech Day and they are ready to unveil some really cool stuff about cross-platform development on Windows 10. Like, the exact same code on all Windows 10 devices. I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm cautiously optimistic.
