Hello

Dark Basic Pro doesn't have any commands under multiplayer for spectator mode. You know the option to spectate online games and player's?. I have allot of interest in this mode.

Any suggestion's or help on this issue?

Microsoft do have the remote desktop api under system services but's that's a whole other mission.

I was hoping for something like

MULTIPLAYER SPECTATE [player number] , camera

Thanks LooLoo 1 Kanobey

A spectator mode is something you will need to code in yourself, this is no harder than coding for a regular player though

A spectator is really just a player that has no avatar and cannot influence the game. So their client side controls are a little different, like free flight instead of first person, but they get the same update traffic from the host/server

cool, thank you very much I shall code it myself then when I get to that point

There is a follow object function/command in the camera commands section I think I saw, i'll start there probably.

Thank you.

So you can just use move camera command to move the spectator camera

This command automatically controls the camera to provide a tracking system

SET CAMERA TO FOLLOW X, Y, Z, Angle, Distance, Height, Smooth, Collision

This one will do probably, need to get a few bits and bobs for my software like a paint program before I load a bsp though ic:mariostar
