Been a few months! Been stressing out trying to find a new job, so decided to relax this week and do some coding. Decided to remake a game I did 5-6 years ago called Santa Drop. Basically you control Santa falling through a chimney. The goal is to not splat, incinerate or have your blood sucked out on the way down. I know, relax = coding? It does!

Here's my progress. Upgraded my phone to an LG3, looks incredible on it. I've also finally made the switch from v1 to v2 on Steam. Loving the new features so far.

My goal is to finish this up by Friday and get it on Google Play. Than back to job searches..lol.

Thanks guys. Trying to finish the game up tonight or tomorrow. Almost done. Just need to setup the leader board and a top ad for the main menu(I hate seeing them in-game).

I'm putting the finishing touches on the animations. Death animations are pretty silly but fun.

Hoping everything works out when I do the final apk, first project in AGK2 so crossing fingers.

Lol, good Christmas Fun Only slight issue I found, is that it doesn't actually save my high score, but other than that, all good! Well done...

Stealth! Nice to hear from you buddy! Been a while. Actually, only got to the concept stage with the original, glad you still remember it lol. What are you up to? Send me an email sometime.

I did a few tests and I think I figured it out. If you exit the game before you hit submit twice it wouldn't save. I've now edit it to where it will update your saved high score during Santa's death.

I see you have 4 scores saved in the top 20. It will only save your score to the leader board if you beat one of the current top 20. Not sure if that's what you meant or if it's just not doing it period?

I have to say I'm really happy with this game release. I've already surpassed active installs on my first two apps that have been out since June..in only 5 days!

If you haven't tried it, download it...it's hard.

One last update coming today. Adding a one and only achievement. Score a 100 or more and earn a 3-star rating, the supreme Santa achievement and you disable ads for good. Because ads are ugly.
