For some time now I use the Postimage.org for posting images here and in other forums also.
Reading carefully in the Postimage.org I noticed that my images will be deleted after 6 months with no views.
Do you know a free image hosting service without such a restriction?
Can I use the Onedrive from Microsoft? In this case how I can post a thumbnail of my Onedrive image in the TGC forums?

The most common one I see is imgur.com . Another is photobucket.com .

If you use photobucket, it provides you with BBCode for thumbnail images.

If you have your own server try Gallery Server 3...

I have a TGC Forum shared hosting service but up to you to use it or not...

http://akaneaya.co.uk/tgcforumrepository/

Just putting it out there

The first one is for images mainly the second for project files demos etc...

I've been using photobucket for nearly a decade, and as far as I can tell nothing in my account has ever been deleted. Even with certain forum members complaining about certain images.

I've used imgur.com recently as well, mainly because I don't need to log into an account to upload images.

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and... nah, I'll pass on the guess.

Back on topic, I use photobucket and it's probably the best bet you'll get! Been u sing it for over 7 years now and have not had one issue whatsoever.

I use imgur whenever I want to post an image to a forum or something like that, it's really easy to upload and if you don't want to, you don't even have to create an account

One thing to consider is the images you're uploading. If it's personal artwork, I don't know what the policy is with imgur on their anonymous uploads. If they can use them or have any rights to them.

They have to have some copyright assigned to them in order to distribute them over the Internet. Any image hosting service has to has that in their terms of service or leave themselves open to DMCA takedowns.

I don't care much for user features so I just use a simple uploading service such as pomf.se of which is written and hosted by a friend of mine. I have a bash script that allows me to do all sorts of things such as take an image (using scrot -s) and upload it instantly or upload a file and have it give me the URL in my clipboard.

Without reading the thread - PhotoBucket FTW!! Been using PhotoBucket for years now, always been perfect for me. Huge free storage, easy linking, photos never deleted. Way better than most other places IMO. I link all my images (including my avatar, sig and any images posted into threads) from PhotoBucket.

I use Dropbox whenever I want to make a publicly available image. Drag it to your the "Public" folder in Dropbox, right click the file, and click "copy public link." Then paste it wherever. Dropbox does have a daily bandwidth limit, but it's relatively high at about 10gb. I have never hit it before.
